Baani Leen Kaur is a highly motivated and curious Software Engineering MTS at Salesforce, with a passion for using her skills for social good. She is a recent graduate in Computer Science and Engineering from IIIT Delhi, where she worked on interdisciplinary research in TavLabs, solving real-world social and medical challenges using Deep Learning and Natural Language Processing. Baani is a committed and ethical team player who brings innovation and creativity to the table. Her sense of commitment and strong work ethics help her transform ideas into solutions. She strongly believes in using her skills to create a better world for the next generation, and has co-founded Coding Sisters, a non-profit endeavor working towards bridging the gender gap in tech from the grassroots level. She is also a core team member of Women in Machine Learning and Data Science and Women Who Code Delhi, mentoring women in tech. Baani is the youngest recipient of the Google Venkat P. Memorial Scholarship, a scholarship given to six exceptional Indian Computer Science students as ‘Upcoming Computer Scientists and Technology Leaders who wish to give back to society’. She is also one of the 100 global recipients of the Women Techmakers Udacity Scholarship. Baani has worked as a Google Summer of Code student developer with Systers, Anita B.Org Institute, an open-source organization that works towards creating an inclusive environment wherein the people who build technology mirror the people and societies for whom they build it. She is also the Director of Women Who Code San Francisco, a global non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring women to excel in technology careers. Baani's technical skills include Salesforce, Software Engineering, ML, Data Scientist, Deep Learning, and NLP. With 3.45 years of relevant experience, Baani is a highly accomplished and driven individual with a passion for using technology to make a positive impact on society.
